An election, by mail, is to be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 for the purpose of electing the Second Elected Member to serve on the Falmouth Retirement Board for a term that will commence on May 26, 2023 through the date of expiration on May 25, 2026. All members in service, members inactive and retirees are eligible to vote. On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, voting ballots with instructions will be mailed to the current address on file with the Falmouth Retirement System. Any member in service or retiree of the Falmouth Contributory Retirement System is eligible to be a candidate provided that they file with the office of the Falmouth Retirement System a nomination paper containing both the signature and address of at least 20 members in service and/or retirees of the Falmouth Retirement System. The nomination paper must be filed on or before 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2023. Nomination papers may be obtained at the office of the Falmouth Retirement System which is located at 80 Davis Straits, Suite 102 in Falmouth, MA 02540. Note: Beneficiaries and Survivors are not eligible to participate.
